Application Lottery Parent Tour & Play Visit
Applications for the 2025/2026 school year have now closed. Any further inquiries submitted will be waitlisted. If spaces should open in our application process we will contact waitlisted families to continue with the admissions process.
All families accepted through the lottery will be asked to schedule a parent tour and play visit. These will occur from November through February.
PARENT TOUR: This small group visit (adults only) will give you an opportunity to meet Jane Racoosin (Executive Director), LeeAnn Valvano (Director), and a current teacher from Beginnings. Please allow one hour to visit the school, learn about our program, and see our classrooms in action. Following an intro with LeeAnn and Jane, you will have a small group tour with a current Beginnings parent. You will visit all the classrooms and observe teachers and children engrossed in their morning "activities period" or morning meeting. If the teachers have a free moment, they will make every effort to introduce themselves and answer questions.
PLAY VISIT (for you and your child): The second part of the admissions process will be an open play visit with a small group of children (4-6) in one of our classroom spaces with LeeAnn Valvano, Director, and Rosalva Moran, Head Teacher. We understand that parents have busy schedules. If both parents can't attend, we completely understand!
Beginnings is a member school of ISAAGNY and sends acceptance letters via email on Thursday, February 27th, 2025, according to the ISAAGNY calendar.
